FTN : Attarintiki Daredi The Telugu movie, which was released on September 27, has registered wonderful opening in the state, thereby proving that the Telugu star has a huge fan following in the Tamil-speaking state too. According to traders, Attarintiki Daredi has collected more than Rs 6 crores at the Box Office in Tamil Nadu. The Telugu movie, in the opening weekend, raked in Rs 1.45 crore of which the Rs 1.05 crore is nett. share. The flick could have done a lot better if there was not any competition from the local movies. The Tamil movies such as Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Onayum Attukuttiyum and Raja Rani gave tough fight to Attarintiki Daredi. The afore-mentioned Tamil films took away maximum screens, which made the Pawan Kalyan starrer movie to get less screens. Yet, Attarintiki Daredi was released in above 40 screens in Tamil Nadu. The movie got the widest release for any Telugu movie in the recent history. And it clearly shows what the Powerstar of Telugu cinema is capable of, claims a trader. Attarintiki Daredi opened up to mixed reviews but it did not affect the Telugu movie, as it got marvelous opening all across the world.
