FTN : Heppenheim (dpa) - Neugierige Blicke auf das Gewimmel am Heppenheimer Marktplatz, in der Altstadt herrscht buntes Treiben: Indische Kamerateams sind mit den letzten Vorbereitungen für den Dreh befasst, während die beiden Hauptdarsteller Rajniesh Duggal und Subhashree Ganguly noch schnell gepudert werden.

Es ist der zweite Drehtag des Bollywood-Films Spark. Seit dem 8. August drehen die Filmproduzenten Vinod Kumar Singh und Naresh Gupta aus Mumbai im Kreis Bergstraße. Noch bis mindestens Mitte nächster Woche sollen die Aufnahmen dauern. Wir bleiben international, aber auch indisch, sagt Regisseur Singh. In seinem Film geht es um die Flucht eines jungen Mannes vor der indischen Mafia nach Deutschland, seine Rache an den Gangstern und die Rückkehr nach Indien. Dabei spielt die Liebe zu einer Frau wie immer eine wichtige Rolle.





In Heppenheim werden die romantische Szenen zwischen den Hauptdarstellern gedreht, in Hirschhorn am Neckar stehen die Tanzszenen auf dem Drehplan. Gefilmt wird außerdem im Odenwald, in Frankfurt am Main und in Mannheim.


Heppenheim hat sich in Mumbai als beliebte Drehkulisse etabliert, erklärt Matthias Schimpf, der stellvertretende Landrat des südhessischen Kreises Bergstraße. 2006 und 2007 wurden hier die beiden Bollywood-Filme Humraah - The Traitor and Aap Kaa Surroor aufgenommen. Aber auch deutsche Filmen wie Max Schmeling and Cindy liebt mich nicht fanden hier im Jahr 2009 ihren Drehort.


Die Bollywood-Filme sind ein klarer Marketing-Aspekt, ein Sprungbrett, um weitere Investoren zu finden, sagt Matthias Zürker, Geschäftsführer der Wirtschaftsförderung Bergstraße GmbH (WFB). Wir wollen den Filmstandort weiter bekanntmachen und die Region dabei wirtschaftlich und touristisch stärken. Die Organisation habe zwar nichts mit der Finanzierung zu tun, stehe aber den indischen Film-Teams mit ihrer eigens eingerichteten Indo-German Film Agency (IGFA) mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.




Die IGFA hilft bei der Besorgung der nötigen Genehmigungen, der Drehortsuche, der Film- und Kamera-Ausrüstung, dem Casting für Tänzerinnen und Statisten. Selbst bei der Suche nach mobilen Kochmöglichkeiten gibt es Unterstützung, immerhin hat die Crew ihren eigenen Koch mitgebracht.

Die Servicegesellschaft Film Commission Hessen, die Filmfördergesellschaft der Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar in Mannheim und weitere regionale Organisationen unterstützen die «Low-Budget-Produktion ebenfalls.

Für Nebendarstellerin Amrita Cheema, eine aus Deutschland stammende 16-Jährige, ist es der erste Bollywood-Film. Seit ihrer Kindheit steht die Frankfurterin auf der Bühne, doch die Aufregung ist ihr anzusehen. Sie spielt die Cousine der Heldin. Die Rolle hat Cheema allerdings erst einen Tag vor Drehbeginn bekommen, und auch den Text gab man ihr erst rund 20 Minuten vor den Aufnahmen.

Bei indischen Film-Sets läuft das wohl etwas anders, erzählt sie.Hier ist nicht alles komplett durchorganisiert wie in Deutschland, wo die Besetzung und das Drehbuch schon Monate vorher feststehen. Aber das ist auch sehr aufregend und eine schöne Erfahrung.

Hauptdarsteller Rajniesh Duggal wirkt dagegen entspannt. Lässig steht der Profi aus Neu-Delhi inmitten der angereisten Journalisten, die Sonnenbrille auf der Nase, die Arme verschränkt. Seine Kollegin Subhashree Ganguly zupft derweil an ihrem Mini herum und lächelt in die Kameras. Beide sind zum ersten Mal in Deutschland. Es ist ein sehr romantischer Ort, sagt Duggal und bewundert die reichlich verzierten Fachwerkhäuser am Marktplatz. Auch Ganguly ist begeistert: Es ist sehr schön hier. Ich würde hier gerne mal Ferien machen.
